It has been a decade of collaborations or even far longer before the word “collaboration’ became a marketing term. And then the alphabet ” X” is now synonym to cross overs or co creations. Lately i have been thinking what it means to even go beyond the words collaboration? Beyond that big ‘ X ‘ Is it meant to be an event or a marketing archive to be celebrated when we make it to the 10 year anniversary. i see collaborating as a way of life rather, aside from mutual benefits, it should work on elevating and motivating one to go beyond their own realm of creating....

Design that gives. That is my first impression when i stepped into Mama Shelter in LA last friday. I suppose that is what you are meant to feel when you step inside. Just like how a mother provides, warm and cozy. Mama Shelter is a parisian boutique chain of hotels, known for its quirks and cozy vibes and now it calls LA its first US home. ¬†Grateful to my Gen Art team, i am super blessed to be able to have a chance to stay at Mama Shelter in LA since its inception two months ago. The notion of branding has evolved by miles since day 1 that i started representing brands three years ago. A brand’s aim is to narrate its story and bring forth its own version of a product or brand experience. Lately, i think the lines between how a consumer plays a part in influencing what is to exist is being blurred and there are many more factors as to what makes a brand grow and become viable.
